Chamber Singers Auditions |
- Chamber Singers is an auditioned vocal group open to all female singers enrolled in a curricular music ensemble class at NVHS. (Members of the WildScats may not audition for this group.)
- Chamber Singers will rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 5:15 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the choir room at the Gold Building.
- Chamber Singers performs at curricular choir concerts as well as throughout the community. Past ensembles have attended various festivals and performances as opportunities have become available.
- 2012-2013 Chamber Singers Auditions will be held on Wednesday, August 29th, 2012 at the Gold Building Choir Room (H111).
- Auditions will consist of singing an excerpt of Carrickfergus as well as a sight-reading excerpt. Students will sing with an accompaniment audio recording at the audition. Students should print the music and download audio recording from the links below.
- Students should audition on the part that they normally sing in class, or that part which best represents their voice. Students are not allowed to audition on more that one part (Soprano I, Soprano II, or Alto).
- MP3 Recordings of individual parts as well as the piano accompaniment are available from the links below.
- Students will be able to sign up for an audition slot during the first week of school. The Neuqua choir directors will make the sign up sheets available.
