For what class should an incoming freshman (Class of 2016) register to reserve a spot in the NVHS music program?

All incoming freshmen enrolling in Band should simply select Concert Band during course registration.

NO Audition is required for placement in one of the 9th grade concert bands.
Students who do not wish to audition should simply select Concert Band during course registration.

Auditions are required for placement into Concert Winds, Wind Symphony, and Wind Ensemble. If a student auditions into another band, the change to the schedule will be automatic.

NO Audition is required for placement in one of the 9th grade concert orchestra.

Auditions are required for placement into Concert Strings, Chamber Orchestra, and Chamber Strings.  If a student auditions into another orchestra, the change to the schedule will be automatic.
