Richard Bauer holds degrees from the University of Idaho and The Ohio State University. He taught in Oregon for a number of years and moved to Illinois in 2006 to direct the orchestras at Neuqua Valley High School. He has been a judge and clinician throughout the Northwest and has taught at numerous Suzuki Institutes in the United States and Canada over the past thirty years. Mr. Bauer was the principal violist for the Portland Opera Orchestra for twelve years and held the same position with the Portland Chamber Orchestra for three years. He was named Oregon Music Educator of the Year in 2002 and is a former president of the Oregon String Teachers Association. At Neuqua, Mr. Bauer teaches Symphonic Orchestra, Chamber Strings, and technique classes.

Brad Pfeil joined the NVHS music staff in 2007. Prior to teaching at Neuqua, he was orchestra director at Las Vegas High School for eleven years. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and his Masters degree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. As a performer, Mr. Pfeil has played six seasons with the Las Vegas Philharmonic and was conductor of the Henderson Civic Symphony for five seasons. Mr. Pfeil has performed as Associate Principal Double Bass of the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra and as a member of the Michigan Opera Theater Orchestra. In Las Vegas, he has played substitute bass for the "Phantom of the Opera" show at the Venetian. Mr. Pfeil also served as a faculty member at the Interlochen Arts Camp at Interlochen, Michigan, and at the Aspen Music Festival in Colorado. Mr. Pfeil teaches Concert Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and technique classes. After school, he is the director of the Wildcat Fiddlers.

Greg Schwaegler received both his bachelors and masters degree in music education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has been on the music faculty at NVHS since 2006. Mr. Schwaegler teaches Concert Strings, Symphonic Orchestra, and Symphonic Strings as well as technique classes. Outside of the school day, Mr. Schwaegler works with the Neuqua Valley Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, he is an assistant director of the Marching Wildcats and arranges the half-time show music performed by the band.
