Staff
Mr. Jonathan Lauff received a Bachelor's Degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, a Master's Degree in Music from Northwestern University, and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. Before joining the Neuqua Valley staff in 1997, Mr. Lauff taught at Aledo High School in Aledo, Illinois. Mr. Lauff serves as the Fine Arts Department Chair. He will be working with the Wind Ensemble, the Neuqua Valley Symphony Orchestra, the Marching Wildcats, and the Jazz Orchestra.

Mrs. Emily Binder received her undergraduate degree in music education from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and her masters in school administration from North Central College in Naperville. Mrs. Binder is also a proud graduate of Waubonsie Valley High school. Prior to coming to Neuqua, Mrs. Binder taught at Gregory Middle School for 18 years. While at Neuqua, she will be working with Symphonic Winds, Concert Winds, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Pep Band, and Marching Band.

Mr. Scott Oliver received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois. Prior to teaching at NVHS, Mr. Oliver taught band at Metea Valley HS and Marion Catholic HS. Mr. Oliver will be teaching Symphonic Band, period 8 and the Wind Symphony. He will also be teaching technique classes as well as working with the Marching Wildcats.
Mrs. Jessica Nellis received her bachelor's degree and graduate degree in music education from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Prior to teaching at Neuqua Valley, Mrs. Nellis taught for 14 years at Springman Middle School in Glenview, Illinois. While at NVHS, Mrs. Nellis will be working with the technique classes in Symphonic Band Period 1, Symphonic Winds, and Concert Band.
